A new mix from Ford and Sons combining top varieties of 90% Kentucky Bluegrass and 10% Perennial Ryegrass. This mix was made to DOMINATE! The 90% Kentucky Bluegrass contains 40% NTEP #1 Mazama Kentucky Bluegrass, rounded out with 30% Granite Kentucky Bluegrass, and 20% Rockstar Kentucky bluegrass for the early spring green-up. The 10% Perennial Ryegrass (5% Fiesta Cinco and 5% Gator 3) is added for quicker germination and assisting in laying those beautiful stripes we all desire. DOMINATE will germinate between days 5 and 14 after seeding. This mix will thrive when mowed between 1” and 3”, tolerating mows as close as ½” for you reel-DOMINATE-mowers. DOMINATE Kentucky Bluegrass is a tolerant turfgrass mix, enjoying fertilization programs ranging from minimal at 2 lbs. of nitrogen on up to 5-6 lbs. of nitrogen per growing season per 1,000 square feet. The broad disease resistance will make certain that your lawn will thrive through the toughest of conditions.
